The Union of Brunel Students is a democratic, student led organisation and is crucial to the experience of the students at Brunel University. Our aspiration is that every Brunel Student is free to develop within and enjoy every aspect of University life, and we see this role as pivotal in achieving this aspiration.
We are recruiting for a full-time placement student to help us to grow and deliver our Team Brunel and Active@Brunel sport and physical activity programmes. The role will involve supporting the development of these areas in a way that engages more students and staff in sport and physical activity, and achieves the Union’s objectives surrounding participation.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, personable and organised individual to really develop and integrate these programmes into campus life. The successful candidate will have a passion for sport and physical activity and the many benefits it can offer to students, and will be able to use their communication skills to enthuse others to get involved, try something new and make it a habit.
Reporting to the Sports Development Coordinator, the Active@Brunel Placement role will work closely with NGB development officers, Student Activators, Brunel Sport, opponent institutions and internal staff to administer and develop a busy and varied programme of activity.
