Student Assembly is the Union's principal decision-making body. It creates and oversees the guiding policies of the Union, holds the Student Officers to account, and is involved in the campaigns and development of the Union. Student Assembly meets on the last Thursday of each month during term so that Student Assembly Members can ask the Student Officers questions about the decisions they have made, vote on policy, and discuss decisions facing the Union. Meetings are open to all students but only the Student Assembly Members can vote on the decisions.
- The 4 Standing Committee Chairs;
- 2 School Members per academic school;
- 20 Community Members from the student body at large.
