Brunel Musical Theatre presents Jason Robert Brown's PARADE

Performances on 27th, 28th and 29th November at 7.30pm in the Howell Theatre.

First performed in 1998 and the winner of many awards, including the Tony Awards for Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Musical Score, PARADE proves that musicals can have a hard-hitting message, a gripping plot and amazing songs.

Jason Robert Brown’s modern musical tells the true story of Leo Frank, a Jewish Yankee factory supervisor, accused of murder. Set in Marietta, Georgia in 1913, 50 years after the Civil War, the mix of anti-Yankee feeling and rife anti-Semitism at the time leads to a miscarriage of justice with tragic consequences.

Book by Alfred Uhry, music & lyrics by Jason Robert Brown & co-conceived by Harold Prince

With a stunning soundtrack and moving scenes, please come and support the students involved both on stage and backstage in this amazing production!

Tickets are £5 for Brunel Students and are available from the promotional stand in the Atrium or from the Arts Centre. If the performances do not sell out, some tickets will be available on the door.
