Brunel Named 35th Best New University in the World

The Times Higher Education magazine has recently named Brunel University as the 35th best University under 50 years old in the world. Beating off competition from the likes of Kent (80th), Loughborough (69th), Plymouth (60th) and the University of Hertfordshire (62nd) in the UK as well as a host of other prestigious Universities from around the world, Brunel also comes in 6th place for best new university in the UK.
Pohang University of Science and Technology from South Korea topped the worldwide league table, with The University of York as the highest placed UK University in 8th place.
The league grades universities on a number of categories including the level of teaching, research, income generated from industry and the mix of international students.
