People and Planet is the largest student network in Britain campaigning to end world poverty, defend human rights and protect the environment. Currently 70 UK universities have their own People and Planet group!

If you are passionate about a campaign do come and let us know, we uphold HUMAN RIGHTS, THE PLANET, RESPECT FOR ALL and ACTION!! We reject ALL FORMS OF DISCRIMINATION.
Apart from holding campaigns on campus, we also build strong relationships with local grass-root organisations such asHillingdon Against Cuts and Transition Heathrow. We support those on the picket lines and regularly attend protests to show solidarity.
We work with other societies to achieve common goals and build stronger groups of activists.
We are always attending events, often with world reknowned intellectuals such as Noam Chomsky, John Pilger and Ilan Pappe, to further educate ourselves as individuals and to build a stronger movement by sharing ideas and experiences.
We are planning on attending Shared Planet event The UK’s largest student conference on world poverty, human rights and the environment. It’s one weekend packed full of inspiring speakers, practical and informative workshops, debates, films, stalls and fun.
