UBS sports teams work hard from September through to April and some even through to June (cricket). We have 42 teams that compete on a weekly basis in British University and Colleges Sport leagues (BUCS) but also in championships. Other clubs compete in their respective competitions.
Here in Student Activities, we are immensely proud of our clubs and all the effort that is put in from individuals. Below are just some of the achievements we have had over 2009-2010.

Knockout success
Netball 1st team got through to the semi finals of the National Championship Cup losing in a very closely fought match to Loughborough.
Women’s football 2nd’s made it through to the finals losing to a fired Canterbury CC.
Women’s tennis also got through to the semi finals of the national cup however lost to Portsmouth.
Men's cricket 1st's and 2nd's made it into the South Eastern Cup however face each other in the quarter finals.

BUCS regional final
For the first time in the history of BUCS, the South East Conference Cup was held at one venue in order to get the "finals" feel and make it special for competitors taking part and spectators. After a bidding process Brunel won it and had 13 sports at Brunel on 24th March. It was a great day (weather was good :D) and there was fierce competition. Surrey brought 150 supporters up via coach to support their rugby team.
Sports Federation Awards Dinner
Every year, UBS puts on the Sports Fed dinner in celebration of the sports teams and individuals successes and achievements throughout the year. Below is a list of Honours that were selected by Sports Federation Committee.
