The Union of Brunel Students is a democratic, student led organisation and is crucial to the experience of the students at Brunel University. Our aspiration is that every Brunel Student is free to develop within and enjoy every aspect of University life and we see this role as pivotal in achieving that aspiration.
We are recruiting for a full-time placement student to help us to grow and deliver our social sport programme called Active@Brunel. The role will involve developing a programme that engages more students and staff in physical activity, with a focus on targeting those that do not currently participate and specific under-represented groups.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, personable and organised individual to really develop and integrate this programme into campus life. The successful candidate will have a passion for physical activity and the many benefits it can offer to students, and will be able to use their communication skills to enthuse others to get involved, try something new and make it a habit.
Reporting to the Student Activities Manager, the Active@Brunel Placement role will work closely with NGB development officers, Student Activators and internal staff to administer and develop a busy and varied programme of activity.
