Advice and Representation Centre is a service provided by the Union of Brunel Students. We provide a free, confidential and non-judgemental service for all students at Brunel University. We are independent from the University; this means we can represent you in your dealings with the University without a conflict of interest.
We offer practical advice on all kinds of subjects relating to student life; university procedures, housing, student funding, budgeting, debt negotiations, and other issues. We have regular drop-in sessions so you can come along and speak to an adviser about your query. Drop-in sessions last 15 minutes, so if your problem is more complex you may be offered a longer appointment. We can also provide advice by telephone and email.
We are proud holders of the Advice Quality Standards accreditation and we are registered with the Financial Services Register (reference number: 618883)
We are regularly audited and have to demonstrate that we are accessible, effectively managed, and employ staff with the skills and knowledge to meet the needs of our clients.
