SUPPORT AND ADVICE FOR STUDENTS WHO NEED TO SELF-ISOLATE
If you are arriving from a country that requires you to self-isolate for 14 days, you must quarantine. If you are arriving from Monday 5 October 2020 onwards, you can book temporary accommodation to self-isolate on campus. This is subject to availability, and you will be charged the en suite room rate.

While studying, you will need to self-isolate if you develop symptoms, a member of your household develops symptoms, or you are asked by the NHS Test & Trace service.
We have developed some guidance on preparing for self-isolation and isolating which you can find here.
If you are showing symptoms of Covid-19 or have had a positive test result and are currently self-isolating, you must complete the Covid-19 Reporting Task that can be found on the ‘My Profile’ page in your eVision portal.
Where to go for support?
Student Support and Welfare Team - The Student Support and Welfare Team is available by phone, email and virtually (via Microsoft Teams, Skype and Zoom) to offer support and guidance on personal, welfare, wellbeing and financial issues. The Chaplaincy - The Chaplaincy is both a place and a team of people. They offer opportunities for students and staff to unwind and to explore faith and spirituality. The Chaplaincy has recently set up a facebook group where you can find out about online events, and support.

Advent Advocacy - Advent Advocacy have a longstanding reputation for providing quality, bespoke advocacy services that focus on achieving the best outcomes for people. Brunel Residences Ambassadors
The RA's will be hosting calls to support any students in self isolation! Please keep an eye out on your emails where you will receive an invitation to join a call with your flat! You will have the opportunity to find out what’s been happening on campus, play online games and receive support from your Residence Ambassadors! You can also follow them in Instagram here.
Brunel University Wellbeing
Brunel University London have developed a series of free one-hour wellbeing webinars in collaboration with Community Barnet. The webinars are delivered by a trained therapist and are accessible from your smartphone, tablet or laptop from the comfort of your own space.
