The Union Meeting is an opportunity for students to hear direct from elected officers and ask questions about their work. You can also query how our finances are conducted and who we affiliate to in order to function.
Union Meetings have the power to override the decisions of Student Assembly or the Officers, call a Referendum, and set out new Union policies. Every student should attend, participate and vote.
The Agenda is the schedule of the meeting and what we'll be discussing.
- Minutes of the Previous Meeting
- Motions to revoke or amend the Constitution & Bye-Laws
- Student Matters
- Trustee Report
- Student Assembly Report
- Executive Committee Report
- Union Accounts Ratification
- Honorary Membership
Proxy voting means that if you aren’t able to attend the AGM and cast your vote in person, you can have someone you trust to cast your vote for you.
Please note that you can only have a maximum of 10 proxy votes without a specified voting preference. You can have another 10 votes so long as the members have specified how they wish you to vote on each agenda item.
You can use this form to apply to vote by proxy for one particular general meeting only.
You and your proxy must be full members of the Union on the date of the meeting to be eligible to vote.
