ROLE DESCRIPTION
Start date: 1st July 2024
Hours of work: 3+ hours commitment a week.
Contract: This is a voluntary position.

Requirements:
- You must currently be enrolled at Brunel University.
- You must be an international student.
- You must be able to attend a remote campaign planning training session in August.
Responsibilities:
- As the International Students Officer, you will support the implementation of One Brunel and the creation of a diverse and inclusive community.
- As the International Students Officer, you will chair the International Student Culture Group. The International Student Culture group will consist of a committee member from each culture-based society.
- As the International Students Officer, you will contribute to the Student Union’s Academic Support campaign, ensuring the campaign relates to the specific needs and struggles experienced by International Students.
- As the International Students Officer, you will create 2 innovative campaigns that galvanize the Student Membership and celebrate the wealth of knowledge that makes up the student and staff population.
- As the International Students Officer, you will inherit the mandatory legacy campaign of International Students Welfare and be allowed to choose a supplementary campaign of your choosing.
Legacy Campaign:
As the International Student Welfare, you will lead the International Student Welfare campaign. The objective is to support either the physical or mental well-being of international students.
Supplementary Campaign:
As the International Students Officer, you will be encouraged to create a supplementary campaign that either promotes the diversity of Brunel students or supports specifically international students.
