NIMISHA PANGENi

Hi everyone! I’m Nimisha Pangeni, your Gender, Diversity & Inclusion Officer for this year. I’m passionate about creating a campus environment where every student feels valued, supported, and included, no matter who they are or where they come from.

My priorities this year are:

✨ Awareness on Employment Law – helping students, especially international and part-time workers, understand their rights at work and how to protect themselves from unfair treatment.

💫 Safety & Support in Venues – launching Angila’s Angels, a student-led initiative to support girls in campus venues and ensure everyone gets home safely after nights out.

🌈 Inclusive Campus Culture – building on campaigns and events that celebrate diversity, challenge discrimination, and strengthen our sense of community at Brunel.

Outside my role, I love music, gym sessions, and discovering cozy spots around campus for a good chat or a matcha latte!

I’m always open to hearing your ideas and experiences - together, let’s make Brunel a more inclusive, empowering, and welcoming place for everyone. 💛
