what does student assembly do?
Student Assembly is where decisions are made regarding the focus and work of the Union It creates and oversees our guiding policies, holds our officers to account, and is involved in Union campaigns and development.
WHO ARE THE STUDENT ASSEMBLY MEMBERS?
The following students make up Student Assembly:
Student Assembly is made up of the following members:
- 13 x Executive Committee (includes full time and Part time officers)
- 15 x Community members (With a target of at least 5 of those to be Women)
- 2 x Commuter student members (With a target of at least 1 of those to be Women)
- 4 x Home Student members (with a target of at least 2 of them being women)
- 2 x Societies Guild Committee members
- 2 x Team Brunel Committee members
how can I submit a motion to student assembly?
You can submit a motion for discussion and decision by Student Assembly via email. To do so, just complete the motion form template here. A motion must be submitted 10 days prior to a meeting, to ensure everyone has a chance to read and think about it.
If you want to make a change to your motion once you have submitted it, just submit an amendment form.
