NEXT MEETING: General Meeting

15th October at 4:30pm, The Venue

This is your opportunity to hear directly from your elected officers in their capacity as trustees and ask them questions. This is your chance to hold the Union to account to make sure that we are properly representing you! You'll also be able to see how much money the union makes and where it spends its money, as well as where the Union affiliates too.

Union Meetings have the power to override the decisions of Student Assembly or the Officers, call a Referendum, and set out new Union policies.

Every student should attend, every student can participate and EVERY student can vote!

How to submit a motion or amendment to a motion

Deadline for motions: Monday 1st October 4:30pm

It's really easy to submit a motion. Just pop it in our template (downloadable as a word document here) and email it in 10 working days prior to the meeting.

If you wish to amend a motion that has been submitted you must submit your amendment 24 hours prior to the meeting in which the motion will be discussed. We have a handy template here for you.

Please submit your motions and amendments to the following email address:

You and your proxy must be full members of the Union on the date of the meeting to be eligible to vote.

Proxy forms must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. As this falls on a weekend the deadline is: 12th October at 5:30pm
