Brunel Aviation

Founder:

I am an aviation enthusiast who is currently under training for a Private Pilot License (PPL), and is interested in aviation photography, visiting museums for aircrafts, and sharing passenger experience of different commercial airline companies.

Currently, we don’t have a society which promotes people’s interests in the field of aviation, and I would like to found an Aviation Society to provide a platform for like-minded aviation enthusiasts to share their experience and insights, as well as to better inform our fellow students who might be interested in the field and further develop their interests.

Activity In detail:

  • To take part in events that promote the culture within the aviation industry hosted by various organisations such as the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA).
  • Flying an actual Warrior PA28-161, Super Cub PA18-150, Tigermoth, Slingsby Firefly T67M, or a Robin 120 at nearby airports to experience an adventure 2000ft above the ground and explore the beautiful landscape.
  • Hosting aviation photography events at nearby airports.
  • Visiting aviation museums, clubs, and aircraft factories.
