Welcome to Brunel Circus Skills Society! We're a friendly, welcoming society dedicated to learning and teaching various circus skills. We have Poi spinners, Jugglers, Diaboloists, Staff spinners, Unicyclists, Balloon modelers and much more, all happy to teach what anyone that io willing to learn. Any new skills are welcomed to join us as well to increase our variety of skills.
All skill levels are welcome; our members are of various ability levels from beginner through to advanced so no matter how much experience you have we’ll have something to offer. We have a large kit with enough equipment to get any newcomer started and we also run several workshops aimed specifically at beginners towards the start of the academic year, so we'll get you doing whatever catches your eye in no time.
We’re also committed to fire skills and often host fire poi, sword and staff practices and performances both on and off campus, with all paid society members being granted fire performance insurance by the Brunel students union.
We have an active social side too; we often host film nights, run trips to juggling conventions and visit to circus shops, along with going to the Load of Hay near campus after every session.
Our regular sessions are from 6-8pm on Tuesday evenings in the Exercise Studio, so head on down to pick up new skills and meet awesome people. Membership only costs £5 per year and you will be covered with fire insurance too!
