Christian Union

At Brunel University Christian Union, our purpose is to know Christ and make Christ known!

In light of the ongoing pandemic, we believe there is no better time than the present to come together and spread the gospel to students, both on-campus and online.

This year, you can look forward to weekly meetings every Tuesday at 19:30 GMT. Through these meetings we hope to strengthen our community and give advice on sharing the gospel at university.  Expect games, guest speakers, Bible study and more! All students are welcome to attend via Zoom.

If you’re an incoming fresher worried about making friends on campus this year, don’t despair! All CU freshers’ events will be available online via Zoom or livestreams. Whether you’re ready to join us at our socially-distanced campus events or doing freshers’ from another time-zone, there will be something for you. From Tuesday to Thursday we will be hosting a welcome stall on the concourse, so drop by if you want to learn more about us or our plans for the week!

Freshers will also benefit from our new buddy system, which will match you with one of our current CU members. They can answer some of your questions about life at Brunel, help you find your way around campus or attend a service with you while you look for a Church in Uxbridge.

Post freshers’, we will continue to meet on-campus where possible and invite online students to join us via Zoom. Our events will focus mostly around Impact and Explore groups. Impact groups bring together three to five students who wish to support each other in prayer and study the Bible in greater detail, while Explore groups serve to answer questions about Christianity and introduce the Bible to those who are less familiar.

This year, our annual Weekend Away fellowship retreat will take place sometime after January, and we have no doubt that this will be amazing as usual!

We would love to hear from you on our Facebook or Instagram. Do get in touch!
