Society Aims
- Inspire a Passion for Space: We aim to ignite curiosity and enthusiasm for space exploration and rocketry in students of all disciplines.
- Provide Hands-On Experience: We offer opportunities to engage in amateur rocketry projects, including participation in national competitions.
- Facilitate Industry Engagement: Through talks and events, we connect students with space industry professionals and provide insights into potential career paths.
Our goal is to create a space where enthusiasts can learn, collaborate, and develop their skills, no matter their level of experience.
Activities
Our society hosts a variety of activities throughout the year, including:
- Rocketry Projects: Participate in building and launching amateur rockets,planes and much more with opportunities to compete in national competitions with UKSEDS.
- Guest Lectures: Hear from academics, authors, and leading industry professionals to gain insights into the space sector.
- Socials and Movie Screenings: Enjoy casual social events and space-themed movie nights where members can relax and connect.
