“Baa weep grahna weep ninny bong to all our new freshers, and if you know what that means, then this is the society for you. Every week we meet up to sample some of the finest examples of science fiction that we can locate, to discuss anything and everything even remotely connected to sci-fi, and, most importantly, to have a laugh with people who share similar interests to ourselves.
“Don’t worry if you’re not already knowledgeable in the genre though, we welcome everyone with even a passing interest in science fiction, so if you’ve seen Star Wars and want to know what else science fiction has to offer, feel free to come to one of our weekly meetings; we screen a different science fiction film every Tuesday from 6pm in the Lecture Centre (Room 062, Ground Floor), then head to a pub for drink and discussion. If you do decide to join us, you will also be invited to participate in other activities, such as trips to the cinema, visits to conventions, movie marathons and more.
“If you’re interested in joining us, feel free to come to one of our meetings, every Tuesday at 6pm in the Lecture Centre, we look forward to seeing you.”
