The Union of Brunel Students is one of more than 600 students’ unions across the country. And with more than 15,000 members, 150 clubs and societies, a huge range of services and a bold strategy, we’re one of the most exciting. Our vision is to ensure that every student thrives at Brunel.
What’s the job?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Union of Brunel Students as our Democracy and Student Engagement Coordinator. This role is an integral role within the Student Voice Department, it supports the Head of Student Support and Representation in in the management of the Student Voice function.
You will lead on delivering the democratic processes of the Union, and you will work in partnership with a range of internal and external colleagues to improve the student engagement in the Unions democratic structures. It is also a great opportunity to get experience of managing staff.
Who you are:
We are looking for a professional, passionate, and innovative person to join our Student Voice Team in a coordinator position. You will already have experience working or in a membership organisation and have a good understanding of the inner workings of Student Unions. In addition, you will passionately believe in the benefits of empowerment, engagement, and student leadership.
