Brunel Halls of Residence
Accommodation on campus are the halls of residence at Brunel. They are all within 10 minutes walking distance to the University's teaching, social and sports facilities, and they have great variety in pricing, location and amenities so take a look to see what is suitable for you.
Whats available?
There's lots of accommodation available with different specifications and price ranges:

Single or double beds

Ensuites or shared bathroom spaces

Undergraduate or post-graduate only; with specific halls for first-year undergraduates, returning undergraduates and MBBS students
Studio flats for co-habiting couple, these are for adults only so cannot accommodate couples with children
If you're looking for family accommodation check out Zebra Housing who are a student accommodation provider with 1-2 bed flats but please note, they are not on-campus

If you are looking for short term lets over the summer you could consider the Halls of residence. This is very popular and there are a limited number of rooms, so it’s always best to apply as early as possible - Find out more at Brunel Summer Lets
How to apply
Applications for on-campus accommodation depend on what level of study you are in and the conditions of your offer.
Students planning on starting in September with a conditional offer and will receive an email with information on how to apply.
You can submit your application through the Student Living Hub.
The university states that all new students are guaranteed accommodation on campus if they meet the application criteria, but they are unable to guarantee preferences.
If you apply by the 31st August 2024, you will be offerred a room on camus. If you apply after this date, it is not guaranteed you will receive a room as it may take longer and you can request for your name to be added to a waiting list.

Support Living Away From Home
If it's your first time living away from home, or if you're nervous about living in halls, there are ResLife Ambassadors (RAs) here to support you through your experience.
ResLife Ambassadors are current students who have or are, currently living on campus and are available to support you and make sure you have the best experience whilst living in halls.
RAs are trained to support students living in halls, who have first-hand experience of living away from home, adapting to university life and living in Brunel.
They organise lots of events from movie nights, cooking classes and mindfulness sessions. They're here to help you meet new people, learn how to live independently and take care of yourself whilst living away from home.

Receiving Mail
When you're living on campus, you can pick up mail and packages from the Distribution Centre or lockers around campus. If you:
Live in Standard Halls, Bishop, Faraday and Lancaster Complexes use Distribution Centre in Concourse Hall Reception
Live in Isambard, Mill, Fleming and Galbraith Complexes use Galbraith post room
Have a large package to collect, visit the Distribution centre
Have an Amazon package to collect, you can use the following lockers:
Inside the Hamilton Centre Foyer - Locker name: cheer
Outside the Distribution Centre at the Joseph Lowe building - Locker name: glen
Isambard complex outside Concourse Halls - Locker name: aigon
