General Election Ready: Student Organiser!

It is forecasted that the UK General Election is just around the corner from being announced, which is why we are launching this new voluntary role for one lucky student to have the opportunity to get involved with mobilising the student population to participate in it!
If you are a current student who will be studying next academic year (23/24 and 24/25) and has a natural and professional approach yet welcomes new ideas and differences, this could be a voluntary role for you.

A chance to win £100!

Currently, International students can work a maximum of 20 hours a week on a student visa. The NUS want to find out more about your experiences of being in employed work whilst being a student or an apprentice.
You can have your say on this and other issues by filling in our students and work survey - you could win £100 just by participating!

Medicine Society (MedSoc)!

MedSoc have been very busy with numerous events past and future - including hosting the first Throwbacks night of the term which was a big hit amongst students!
They also held a speaker event on the evolution of consciousness, with a future plan for an anatomy quiz night in November!

Lacrosse Club!

Lacrosse played amazingly this Wednesday, with both Men’s and Women’s team winning their fixtures!
The women’s team beat Chichester 19-2, whilst the Men’s team beat Canterbury Christchurch 7-3 despite playing the entire match with one less player.

Our brand new EU Officer!

Delia has only been in position for a week but has already been hard at work, meeting the voice team, making great plans for 23/24 which include some European celebrations.
Not only is Delia an officer, but she has been a dedicated student rep and is also Chair of the Law Society; where does she find the time?
Delia has also helped promote the new Unitu rep platform, an innovative tool for students to give feedback and key to improving the student experience.
