Get ready for an empowering experience designed especially for Brunel students. Our mission? To equip you with the knowledge to recognize signs of unsafe situations and ensure you know exactly where to find support when you feel unsafe or vulnerable.

Topics covered include Digital Safety, Domestic Violence, Housing Situations, and Street and Campus Safety.

Nominations are coming to a close next Friday

You only have 1 week left to get your nominations in for our Autumn Elections! This is your chance to have your voice heard and represent your fellow students on campus.

Positions available include Postgraduate OfficerLGBTQ+ OfficerHome Students Officer, Environmental and Ethics OfficerNUS Delegate, and Student Assembly Members (Community, Commuter, and Home)

Malayali Society hosting a festival!

The Malayali Society demonstrated remarkable planning skills and resilience by successfully organizing the Onam Festival 2024 on September 27th. They also hosted the first OneBrunel event of the year and welcomed over 20 new members during freshers’ week. Notably, they sold 40 tickets for Onam 2024 in less than 48 hours. Kudos to their teamwork and collaboration with the Union!

 

Tennis Club with the most sign-ups!

After a successful Freshers Fair, Tennis have come out on top with the most club sign-ups so far at 32!

They have 1 men’s and 1 women’s BUCS team along with a more relaxed mixed LUSL team. Their training is conducted on their own 6 outdoor flood-lit courts located on the University’s sports park!

 

Our full-time officer team get stuck in for Freshers week 1

Rana, Himanshu and Vishal have been on their toes this week, ensuring a warm welcome for the incoming freshers. The officers helped students settle in on Moving In Day, attended a variety of freshers activities and Malayali Societies Onam festival.

It's not all fun and games though, they also sat on crucial Senate meetings, ensuring they give the opinions of the students to representatives of Brunel University.
