More About Us:
Brunel Sailing is well... a sailing club! We cater for all abilities whether you're trying it out for the first time or you've been sailing since birth.
We offer the opportunity to compete against other universities at a national level in both team racing and fleet events or just to sail for fun if that's more your speed. We also offer official training courses catering to all levels, you'll even come out with an RYA Qualification at the end!
Last, but definitely not least are our socials. If you're a party animal or just want to meet some new friends, then we'll be sure to have a social for you. If we don't, then let us know and we'll set something up for you. After all, it's our job to make sure all of you are happy!

Training:
When/Where?
We meet every Wednesday at 13:00 at the bridge by the sports hall (pictured below) where transport to Datchet Water Sailing Club will await you. These sessions are race focused and prepare us for the events throughout the year!
We also meet on Sundays at 12:00 these sessions are fun and focused on teaching the basics to beginners;
What?
What do you need to bring? The only things you'll need to bring are:
- Swimwear/ clothes that you don't mind getting wet
- Shoes you don't mind getting wet (ideally not slides or flipflops)
- A towel
There are showers on site which you are welcome to use.
