Role Description

 

Start date: 24th October 2024

 

Hours of work: 3+ hours commitment a week.

 

Contract: This is a voluntary position.

Training:

Contract:

This is a voluntary position but you will be required to sign a volunteer form.

 

Requirements:

  • You must currently be enrolled at Brunel University.
  • You must be registered on either a postgraduate taught or postgraduate research course.
  • You must be able to attend a remote campaign planning training session in November.

 

Responsibilities:

  • As the Postgraduate Officer, you will support postgraduate taught and postgraduate research students with their wellbeing and education.
  • As the Postgraduate officer, you are the Student Union’s Postgraduate Experience Group. The International Student Culture group will consist of the postgraduate course reps.
  • As the Postgraduate Officer You will contribute to the Student Union’s Academic Support campaign, ensuring the campaign relates to the specific needs and struggles experienced by postgraduate students.

 

Mandatory Campaign:

As the Postgraduate Officer, you will be encouraged to create 1 supplementary campaign that raises awareness of the issues affecting postgraduate students.
