About Us
At the Union of Brunel Students, our mission is simple: to positively impact every student’s time at university. We provide support, representation, opportunities and experiences that help students thrive both academically and personally. We are looking for a friendly, organised and compassionate Student Support Administrator to join our Advice Service.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors. Provide an inclusive reception service. Respond to enquiries across multiple channels. Support students through information, guidance and signposting. Maintain confidential records. Support the Advice Service, Hardship Fund and Student Voice activities.
About You
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, a commitment to customer service, experience using Microsoft Office, and a genuine interest in supporting students.
Our Benefits
We offer a generous benefits package to reward our staff's hard work and commitment, including:
- Generous holiday allowance - Generous holiday allowance - 25 days a year plus bank holidays (This will be pro rata'd for part-time employees). Additional days are usually given at Easter and Christmas in line with the University closure dates (usually about 5 additional days a year).
- Long service - 2 additional days leave will be given after 5 years continuous service
- On-site parking – Parking on campus at a low-cost rate.
- Flexible Working - The Union adopts a flexible working environment.
