Hello, I am Rahul Rathee currently enrolled as a master’s student pursuing LLM - International Commercial Law from Brunel University London.
I am contesting for the post of Assembly Representative - Law Department.
As an individual, I believe that there is power in unity and collective measure. Together, let us walk towards making a difference in this world and create an environment of equal opportunities, growth, and success for one and all.
As an Assembly Representative, I will strive hard to create an environment where all students are given equal opportunities to secure part-time jobs, where more workshops are conducted to enhance and cultivate skills that are instrumental in shaping personal character which leads to career development and ultimately raising legal awareness to invoke a generation that is aware and woke.
Points of focus:
- Providing Smooth and easy registration of courses and selection of modules for new students.
- Ensuring better awareness regarding every law-related event organised by the department.
- More workshop(s)/Information regarding Coursework and Dissertation – to help students navigate from understanding the question to writing more instrumental coursework.
- Increasing the number of events hosted per semester allows students to network with relevant colleagues, academics, and industry experts.
- Organising discussions and interactive sessions on various current affairs topics among students and staff to express one’s views and enrich knowledge on the same.
- Work on creating a hassle-free point of contact for all international students from the Law Department.
- Assistance in finding and securing full-time jobs, internships, and relevant part-time jobs with the help of PDC.
- To make a case with the administration of the university to provide students with increased academic support and access to learning resources including library visitation hours, especially during exam and dissertation periods.
