Now that Spring has arrived, expect closures scheduled for various services and venues across campus. Here's everything you need to know about our services to plan ahead:
Union Offices
All Union of Brunel Students offices will be closed from 4pm on Tuesday 31st March and will reopen at 10am on Wednesday 8th April. Make sure to wrap up any visits or inquiries before the break begins!
Advice Service
Our Advice service will be closed from 4pm on 31st March until Wednesday 8th April 10am. They will be open as usual (online and on campus) on Wednesday 8th April 10-4pm, however will be online only on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th April. In-person sessions will then resume from the 11am on Monday 13th April 2026. For wellbeing support during the break please check out our dedicated support pages here.
The Venue
The Venue will host its final event before the break, the Stock Market Crash - Nightlife Event, which will finalise it's closure on Saturday 28th March at 3am. After this, The Venue will remain closed for an extended period, reopening for its next big event, Juicy, on 22nd April at 10pm. Mark your calendars for the return of this beloved nightlife hotspot!
Loco’s Bar
During the Spring break Loco's will be closed from 9:30pm on Friday 27th March until 10am on Monday 20th April 2026 inclusively.
After this period Loco's will open with it's usual opening hours as stated below.
Monday - 10am - 11pm
Tuesday - 10am - 11pm
Wednesday - 11am - 11pm
Thursday - 10am - 11pm
Friday - 11am - 11pm
Saturday - 12pm - 10:30pm
Sunday - 12pm - 10:30pm
Brunel Merch Shop
Our shop will be closed online and in-person from 5pm on Tuesday 31st March and will reopen at 9am on Wednesday 8th April.
