About the role
Freshers Crew members are the friendly faces that help new students feel welcome, make friends, and find their place at Brunel.
This isn't a role where you'll stand behind a stall handing out flyers. It's about being approachable, inclusive, and helping students feel like they belong from day one.
What will I do?
Move-In Day
Welcome new students, start conversations, and help them feel at ease as they arrive on campus.
Help students make connections
Introduce students to each other and help break the ice during Freshers Week.
Be visible across campus
Support activity across campus and make sure students feel included in what’s happening.
Online engagement
Help keep Freshers WhatsApp groups active, welcoming, and supportive.
Content creation
Take part in TikTok and Instagram content showing student life at Brunel.

What you’ll receive

Time Commitment
11–26 September 2026
Includes training on 11 September, Move-In Day, daytime and evening shifts.
Most shifts will take place between 11am and 7pm, with occasional evening shifts finishing by 11pm.
