Giving Day raising money for our student hardship fund

Brunel University is excited to announce Giving Day 2024, 23rd-24th October —a live 36-hour fundraising event filled with challenges, activities, and opportunities to make a real difference for students in need.

We’re calling on all Brunel students, alumni, staff, and supporters to come together and raise funds for scholarships, awards, and the Union's Hardship Fund. This fund is vital in supporting students facing unexpected financial challenges, especially given the rising cost of living.

First Aid Soc are keeping hearts beating

First aid society ran restart a heart day! This event involved showing the Brunel community and students alike how to perform CPR. Alongside this they also and raised money for St John Ambulance with a bake sale on campus, selling a large variety of goods outside the Hamiton Centre.

 

Futsal winning on all fronts

They have demonstrated outstanding engagement recently with impressive numbers of participants at both their team brunel and active@brunel sessions! They've also successfully raised money for club resources, enhancing the experience of all their new members 

Additionally, their social media presence has been top-notch.

Reggie leads the way with Black History Month

Our BME Officer Reggie has been stuck in this month celebrating Black History Month. He has collaborated alongside ACS Society to ensure Black Students are given the opportunity to 'Reclaim the Narrative' this October

He also starred as a guest on our 'What's BRUing Podcast', where he, alsongside ACS president Remz, discussed black culture at Brunel.
