Spring Elections is in full swing and it is important to come out and vote for who you believe will best represent you next year as the voice of brunel students.

We are continuosly aiming to improve services for our students. To do this we're looking to conduct research to gain insights from students like you, on how we can be more inclusive and accessible. We have an upcoming focus group planned and we would like to know if you are interested in partcipating!

As we enter March we reflect on last month's theme of LGBTQ+ History and needless to say this society championed it. With the help of LGBTQ+ Officer Morgan (They/Them), they ensured the Union of Brunel Students delivered awareness events such as the stall outside the Hamilton Centre at the beginning of the month and the Fruity Juicy event in The Venue featuring drag act Miss Brambley Apple!

BUCS Nationals happened last weekend and Athletics Club pulled out all the stops to succeed with Jess Hopkins winning Gold in the women's shot-put! The team also won 3 silver medals and 4 bronze, taking Team Brunel to 3rd place overall behind Loughborough and Birmingham! A great success for this club.

Also an honourable mention to all the other clubs who made it to BUCS last weekend including BUMS, Fencing, Badminton, Karate, and Swimming.

Next week we at the Union are celebrating Women everywhere with the theme #InspireInclusion. Our student voice admin Johanna curated an amazing article for us to showcase the struggles of Women in Film, going Above and Beyond her roll as a student and staff member. Fancy reading it yourself?
