What's New

Less than two weeks until West London Varsity hits Brunel.

The long-awaited sporting battle between Team Brunel and St Mary's University is getting closer and closer. It's on campus this year and set to be bigger than ever. Last year, St Mary's retained the cup - this year, it's our turn. You're clearly as excited as we are - the first release of spectator tickets have all sold out - let's make sure you're all there supporting our teams as they face off in the sporting day of the year.

Didn't get a ticket? Stay tuned this week for a final release of spectator tickets...

The T-Shirts & Merch Bundle for Varsity can be picked up 10am-4pm Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th March.

Free pizza and £25 on the Time to Eat App? No-brainer.

We're looking for 20 students to give their insights and feedback in order to help us better understand your lived experience of what Brunel has to offer in retail, catering, hotel and conferencing. If you're interested, fill out our Insights and Feedback on Brunel's retail offerings form. It will take place on Thursday 19th March, from 6pm-7:30pm, at Cavendish in the Hamilton Centre.

And don't worry - you'll be rewarded for your assistance with free pizza on the day and £25 worth of credit to your Time to Eat App to spend on more food!

WSN launches 'Self Love > Self Doubt' Body Dysmorphia Campaign.

How often are we harder on ourselves than we would ever be on anyone else?

It's Women's History Month, and the Women's Student Network wants to take this opportunity to encourage people to love themselves. From Monday 9th March to Friday 13th March, students can anonymously submit negative thoughts they want to release, into our purple self-love box in the Atrium in the Hamilton Centre.

On Monday 16th March, all submissions will be destroyed, a cathartic symbol of letting go, of those negative thoughts. Read our article to find out more.

Societies Round-up

Holi happened: THE best way to spend your reading week!

We are delighted to share that this year’s Holi celebration, our OneBrunel event, was a wonderful success! This vibrant celebration was delivered in collaboration with the Indian Society, Hindu Society, Nepali Society, and the Krishna Consciousness Society, and we are grateful for their support in bringing this festival to life.

A total of 421 tickets were sold, and students enjoyed eight different sustainable powder colours, creating a bright and eco‑friendly Holi experience. We were also pleased to welcome DESI DELI, who provided delicious food throughout the day. Our fantastic DJ kept the energy high, and it was amazing to see students celebrating, dancing, and enjoying the festivities together.

A heartfelt thank you to all our students for participating and helping make our Holi celebration so colourful, joyful, and memorable. We look forward to celebrating with you all again next year!
