KILROY are giving students the opportunity to explore the world, gain new skills and make a different, with their KILROY Impact Scholarship. Students can apply for a £500 grant to use towards a choice of over 100 meaningful development projects in 21 countries.

This week Photography Society got into the spooky spirit of Halloween with their pumpkin portrait photoshoot. Both the Christian Union and Filipino Society brought games nights to the table, with the CU notably putting on some escape room style activities! Hopefully they all got out safely!

Finally, we love to see the coming together of community here in Brunel - Musical Drama and Theatre Society, and Creative Writing Society, held their events in collaboration this week. 

 

 

 

Team Brunel came through with some intense wins this week, from a tight Table Tennis Men’s 1 9-8 win over Reading, to the Women's 2 Rugby Union team's thrashing of Surrey with a whopping 50-12 scoreline. The Rugby success continued, with Rugby Union Men’s 1 beating Cardiff Met 33-10, and Rugby League Men’s 1 with a 44-28 win against Brighton.

Huge credit to Women’s Lacrosse this week for fielding a team last-minute, preventing a £500 cup walkover fine and improving their scoreline.

This weekend, American Football face Cardiff in a top-of-the-table clash.

 

Despite next week being Reading Week, campus is buzzing with fixtures - come down and cheer on Team Brunel!
