Calling all commuter students - short term accommodation during the exam period is available now - and LIMITED!

We’ve heard from a lot of you that getting to campus during exam season can be stressful; early mornings, long journeys, and not much time to revise in between. And as such, we've spoken to the university and figured out an option to lessen the load: temporary campus accommodation.

Find out more in our article on the matter.

Senior Academic Rep of the Month & Academic Rep of the Month

A huge congratulations to Alfred Antwi-Brefo and Vaishnavi Rajeev Salunkhe for winning Senior Rep/Academic Course Rep of the month, respectively.

Alfred developed and submitted a proposal to the Head of Department and the Student Development Centre to introduce selected content from EC2554 into the first-year module EC1700. He supported this proposal with student survey data, ensuring that it was evidence-based and reflective of student needs.

Vaishnavi identified a significant assessment clash affecting LLM students across multiple specialisations. She raised the issue, advocating for students through meetings and follow-ups, proposing practical solutions to reduce pressure. As a result of her persistence, coursework deadlines were extended across multiple LLM modules, easing workload pressures and allowing students to better prepare for their assessments.

Active Campus Survey is here. Don't miss your chance to speak up.

The Active Campus Survey is done every 2 years and is your chance to tell us how sport and physical activity at Brunel fits into your student life.

Your feedback will help us improve access, inclusion, and opportunities - and will provide key input into what the future sport and physical activity offer should look like on campus.

We want to know: how often (or not) you take part in sport or physical activity, what helps or stops you from being active at Brunel, what activities, facilities or support you’d like to see, and how inclusive and accessible the current offer feels.

Everyone who completes the survey can choose to enter a prize draw - four students will be randomly selected, each winner receives an £150 Amazon voucher. Just add your email at the end of the survey to enter.

Take the Active Campus Survey.
