Earn a £40 Gift Card by sharing your views on student representation. Talk about a win-win!

On Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st March, we are having focus groups talk about student representation - we have decided to review how everything works here at Brunel to make sure representation is clear, inclusive of all, easy to get involved in, and making change. This is based on discussions at the General Meeting back in December.

Two focus groups will be held on each day, both days consisting of a 10am-12pm online slot, and a 2pm-4pm in person slot. If you take part, you will be given a £40 gift card. You don't need any prior knowledge ahead of time - we encourage everyone to get involved. If you're interested, read more about our plans here.

Attention Final Year Students. This is important.

The NSS (National Student Survey) is open: this is your opportunity to really make a difference at Brunel. This is a chance to speak openly, honestly and confidentially about your Brunel experience. Through your responses, the university is able to improve for future years - an aspect of uni that really needs a change? You can bring it to attention. An aspect that is good and needs protecting? You can ensure it stays.

Find out more by reading our article, and bear in mind - by taking part you are entered into a prize draw. The winnings include: 1 iPad, 2 Sonos speakers, 2 DJI gimbals, 10 £50 Amazon vouchers and 2 graduation packages including VIP tickets, photography and gown hire.

WSN x WHM: Clothes Swap – Dress for Success

Women’s History Month begins next week! To embody this year’s theme of “Lead The Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future”, we are hosting a clothing swap to help combat textile waste. This event will be held on March 12th from 12pm-4pm in The Venue.

This is a gender-affirming event open to all women and women-identifying students. We would love to see you there, but we would also love if you would donate your pre-loved clothing. We need a mix of casual and professional pieces, as this event focuses on employability and helping you dress for success. Additionally, this is a body positive space, so we’re looking for a variety of sizes to be donated.

Please bring your contributions to the Union Advice Reception (located off Benjamin Zephaniah Square) prior to the event, or to The Venue between 9-10 am on the day. Ensure that your donations are clean and in good condition before bringing them.

This is a swap, so to take clothes, you must bring some. When you donate, you’ll be provided with tickets which you can exchange for items on the day of the event.

Find out more about the event here.
