Mental Health Awareness Week Recap.

Today marks the conclusion of Mental Health Awareness Week. This year’s theme, Action, encouraged individuals to take meaningful steps for themselves, for others, and for their wider communities. Throughout the week, we shared simple daily actions to inspire people to take those first steps towards better mental health, supported by a series of events designed to bring these actions to life.

Miss out on the events but still want to take part? There’s two more days left of the campaign, check out our resources to help you take action for mental health.

Attention all commuters! Tube strikes take place next week!

Do you have an exam next week and rely on the London Underground to get to campus? A reminder that there are scheduled tube strikes, so please ensure you plan your journeys to and from campus to make sure you are not late for your exams.

All strikes run from 12:00 midday to 12:00 midday the following day, but disruption will continue into the afternoon and evenings of strike days - there will be limited service on London Underground lines from Tuesday 19th to Wednesday 20th, and Thursday 21st to Friday 22nd.

As a reminder, the option for on campus accommodation is available, which you can read more about in our article on the matter.

Active Campus Survey is here. Don't miss your chance to speak up.

The Active Campus Survey is done every 2 years and is your chance to tell us how sport and physical activity at Brunel fits into your student life.

Your feedback will help us improve access, inclusion, and opportunities - and will provide key input into what the future sport and physical activity offer should look like on campus.

We want to know: how often (or not) you take part in sport or physical activity, what helps or stops you from being active at Brunel, what activities, facilities or support you’d like to see, and how inclusive and accessible the current offer feels.

Everyone who completes the survey can choose to enter a prize draw - four students will be randomly selected, each winner receives an £150 Amazon voucher. Just add your email at the end of the survey to enter.

Take the Active Campus Survey.

30 Minutes of your time for a FREE MEGA Juicy Ticket and Entry into a £50 Prize Draw!

All Brunel students are invited to our General Meeting to approve our updated Students’ Union constitution. The current version is outdated and inflexible, while the proposed changes aim to make the Union clearer, more adaptable, and better aligned with modern student needs. The meeting runs on 28 May 2026 at 3pm in the Eastern Gateway Auditorium and will finish by 4pm. Attendees can receive a free MEGA Juicy ticket and enter a £50 prize draw. If you cannot attend you may appoint a proxy by 26 May.
