As the winter festivities approach, expect closures scheduled for various services and venues across campus. Here's everything you need to know about our services to plan ahead:
Union Offices
All Union of Brunel Students will be closed from 4pm on Monday 22nd December and will reopen at 10am on Monday 5th January. Make sure to wrap up any visits or inquiries before the break begins!
Advice Service
Our Advice service will be closed from Friday 19th December at 4pm until 10am on Monday 5th January. For wellbeing support during this period please check out our dedicated support pages here.
The Venue
The Venue will host its final event before the break, the Christmas Stock Market Crash, which will finalise it's closure on Saturday 13th December at 3am. After this, it will remain closed for an extended period, reopening for its next big event, Juicy, on 14th January at 10pm. Mark your calendars for the return of this beloved nightlife hotspot!
Loco’s Bar
During the winter break Loco's will be closed from 13th December 2025 until 4th January 2026 inclusively.
Once re-opened, there will be a period of reduced hours, with Loco's opening 11am-7pm between 5th-9th January 2026 and closed the weekend of 10th-11th January 2026.
After this period Loco's will open with it's usual opening hours as stated below (commencing 12th January 2026).
Monday - 10am - 11pm
Tuesday - 10am - 11pm
Wednesday - 11am - 11pm
Thursday - 10am - 11pm
Friday - 11am - 11pm
Saturday - 12pm - 10:30pm
Sunday - 12pm - 10:30pm
Brunel Merch Shop
Our shop will be closed from 4pm on Monday 22nd December and will reopen at 10am on Monday 5th January. Make sure you order your gifts ASAP before we close for winter break!
