Renting your first student property and deciding where you are going to live after your First Year in Halls is a big decision and it is really important that you don’t rush in without being clued up on all the facts.

Last year there was a surplus of student private rent accommodation in the area right up until the end of the academic year. There are plenty of properties available so there is no need to feel pressurised into signing a contract for the first property that you visit.

Take your time – think about who you want to live with?  What type of property do you want?  Where do you want to live?   How much can you afford to pay?

Come along to the ARC Housing Fayre: Monday 10th February 2014 – 11am to 2pm, The Atrium Hamilton Centre to meet and register with approved letting agents and the University’s Off-campus Housing team.

Also remember that you can book an ARC contract check appointment before you sign your contract.
