Brunel Ducks sitting pretty in second

As we head into Term 2 Brunel Ducks, our National League Basketball team, are placed 2nd in their league, with promotion to Division 2 very much in their sight.

2016 has already started well for the Ducks, a tough post-Christmas away trip to Loughborough Riders last week could have proved tricky, but the team brushed off any sign of rustiness in the first half, and at the end of the 4th quarter had secured a valuable 12 point victory (65-77 final score).

With home games coming thick and fast over the coming weeks, and the nights being cold and dark, it is now the perfect opportunity to support the Ducks and help roar them on to victory. Matches take place in the Sport Centre on campus and cost just £1 for entry with a student card. There is a live DJ and end to end action so it is a great way to kick off your Saturday night!

Upcoming home games to put in your diary are:

16th January vs Barking Abbey Crusaders, 6pm tip off

30th January vs Oxford Brookes University, 6pm

6th February vs Plymouth Raiders II, 3pm

Venue: Sport Centre, Brunel University
