As part of our drive to increase the number of Brunel students that are registered to vote, we brought in an Ice Cream van to give a free Mr Whippy to the first 500 students who came and registered with us.
Hundreds of students turned out on Thursday 14th, basking in the sun, enthusiastically filling out the forms to have their say in the upcoming elections.
On May 5th, Londonders have the opportunity to vote for their next Mayor of London. Elections are taking place everywhere outside of London too, including the Welsh Assembly, the Scottish Parliament, Police & Crime Commisioners and Local Council elections.
Due to the changes in voter registration, millions of people have been dropped from the elecotral register which means that they won't be able to vote.
The deadline to register to vote for the EU Referendum is June 7th - make sure you have your say on one of the biggest referendums this country will have in your lifetime.
