On the 27th September, the Union of Brunel Students took a step forward to combat a rise in lad culture by inviting Goodlad to present 5 workshops across the day. Goodlad work with Universities and Colleges in England to promote a healthy view of masculine, which in turn helps bring about positive change within both their social circle and the University as a whole. The workshops themselves were attended by over 20 different sports clubs and proved a valuable asset to the ongoing work the Union and Team Brunel are doing as a whole. We are hopeful these workshops will lead to an increase of ‘positive masculinity’ across sports at Brunel and additional role models.
