We're proud to announce that last Friday, it was announced had gone from 40th to 18th in the UK for our Students' Union according to the WhatUni Awards. The awards take into account real student feedback, and from the written comments alone we can tell that there are students who really care about their Union at Brunel.
Here's what our President, Anvitha Paruchuri had to say....
"I’m very happy to hear the news from the WhatUni Awards today that we have made huge strides in areas such as Employability, Postgraduate Students, and Sports & Societies - which we’re now in the top 10 for across the entire country. As a Student Union, our score has gone from 40th in the UK to 18th which really shows the unbelievable work we’ve done to be relevant to the experiences of our members. ?
We couldn’t have done it however without the University recognising the importance of funding our Clubs & Societies through Active@Brunel and the OneBrunel Project, our previous officer team, our staff and our volunteers - If you’ve helped build the Union whilst you’ve been at Brunel, then I want to say huge thank you. We’ll be looking forward to the 2020/21 year where we’ll be developing our activity, including our OneBrunel Campaign!"
Anvitha Paruchuri, President of the Union of Brunel Students
