The Union of Brunel Students’ satisfaction rating, for the third year running, is the highest in London
The Union of Brunel Students’ satisfaction rating is the highest in London, for the third year running.
This year's National Student Survey (NSS) results were released today, to much acclaim across Brunel campus.
In addition to this survey measuring student satisfaction of the University, for the last three years it has also asked the question regarding satisfaction of the Students Union.
We are delighted to see that for the third time running, the Union of Brunel Students’ satisfaction rating is the highest in London, and that we have scored in the top ten status of Students' Unions nationally - with a satisfaction rating of 81%
Marcus (VP Academic Representation) commented today; “the satisfaction of our members is really important to us. To hear once again that those completing the NSS have a really positive view of UBS is a testament to my predecessors, the student representatives, and all of our Union staff. I’m looking forward to being part of the leadership team this year, and maintaining- or improving- this position”
This year the Union took a leading role in ensuring that eligible students completed the NSS, and we were proud to see the participation figures rise. Today's results for the University show an increase on last year, and move Brunel up the overall satisfaction table by nearly 30 places.
Leon (VP Community Welfare) adds “we are also delighted that the University has increased its satisfaction rating to 89%, meaning that Brunel has one of the highest satisfaction ratings in London. To me it’s a recognition that the environment and community we all generate is positive and the partnership between the Union and the University is a strong one. Long may it continue”
