Student Reps are elected by you to represent your views and push for change that will improve your academic course at Brunel. They can help with you with improving your academic experience on your modules, your course, and your department. They can also help resolve any other problems you may have. Each Hall at Brunel is different, and each has its own unique community. This summer, we have looked into the experience of students in halls and created a network of Halls Committees. These committees have a broad scope of activity and by becoming part of your Halls committee you will:
Organise socials and events.
Make proposals for the spending of £500,000 for hall improvements
Lead the way for your hall to win points in our Halls Points scheme, with prizes to win
Run monthly Halls Forums with your other Reps to find out about the experiences of fellow residents.
If you choose to run to become a Halls Rep, the Union will help you every step of the way - we’ll also give you plenty of training and personal development opportunities.
