Sometimes Student Reps do not have massive issues on their course which they have to battle against for months. Many courses here at Brunel need little intervention from your Student Reps. This does not mean that Student Reps are not doing their jobs. There is so much more than just raising issues that makes a student a rep.
For example, our Student Spotlight this time goes to Melis Omar, the level 1 International Politics Course Rep. Melis shows the true meaning of being a part of a Students’ Union. She is always ready to ensure that all students are being given the best possible experience they could wish for at Brunel. This ranges from helping at the Christmas Market, organising regular socials with her course, and being ready to fight the fight against the National Student Survey.
Melis is always ready to help anyone who needs it and is willing to dedicate herself to a cause. Melis truly embodies what it means to be a Student Rep at Brunel.
