UBS Personal Development Program 2013/14
We at the students union are really happy to announce that this year’s Personal Development Program will have two strands – Personal AND Academic development. We believe this is essential to have due to the fact that academic development is as necessary as personal, as you need a good degree as well as the professional development to get into your chosen job sector.
We hope all of you take up this opportunity and get involved in what will be coming up this year in both the strands.
We’d like to thank Nathan Ghann, from How On Earth Do I Get A First, for agreeing to deliver this exciting talk!
Zein Owfar, VP Academic Representation
This talk will be taking place on Tuesday 19th November and is free to attend - however you must register in advance.
Location details will be sent to the email address you register with.
More About Nathan
Nathan Ghann selected at the House of Lords as one of the Top Ten Most Outstanding Graduate's in the UK will be delivering his keynote talk
'How On Earth Do I Get A First?' On Tuesday 19th November
Nathan Ghann's story is one of tragedy and triumph having left school with only 2 A-C GCSEs he was labelled as ‘academically challenged’. However, he was able to turn it around and achieve one of the highest exam grades within his degree course (96%) and go on to achieve a First Class BA Hons Degree.
Nathan created the First Class Graduate Network to help university students across the country improve their academic development. To date he has delivered his talk to 20+ universities helping more than 2,000 students improve their grades and over 100 becoming First Class graduates.
