Good News Stories
Recently, we’ve been hearing about some incredible stories from students who have been making a difference during this crisis.
From our MadeInBrunel team who have been supplying PPE to healthcare staff to our President and other students across the UK who have been sending food to key workers using their campaign “One Million Meals” - Submit your good news stories in the link here!
The University has recently published a webpage where they’ve illustrated the changes to learning and teaching at Brunel in 2020 including their approach to “Dual Delivery” where you can learn both on campus (when it’s appropriate to come back) and online; January intake options for many of our courses; Return to Learning, with support for students returning to their studies; and Keeping Safe on Campus including ensuring social distancing across campus and the flow of people around campus.
You can read more about these changes here and also sign up for updates about changes to 2020 at Brunel.
Our President has been Nominated!
Our President, Ranjeet, has been nominated for the International Alumni of the Year in the Pieoneer Awards 2020, which looks celebrate the innovation and achievement in international education. He’s in the final shortlist for the award, which will be announced later in the year at the Virtual Event.
We’re very proud that Ranjeet has put in over the last two years, including on the Brunel Bus & the Plastic Free Campaign with Costcutter!
Ranjeet joins many organisations and students from across the world, including Universities in Australia, Canada, the United States of America, Germany and Turkey. We’ll look forward to the results which will be announced later this year.
At the moment, we’re working out what we’ll be doing next year and inducting our new officers but we can let you know for certain that the new term will now start on the 21st of September, 2020. If you have any questions, you can check out the term dates on this page here
