The Brunel Robotic Engineering Society (BRES) is open to all Brunel students from every background, level and experience, who are interested in developing hands-on practical projects.
What do we do?
Industry is multidisciplinary, and so should be our learning, Robotics includes all engineering principles and allows us to put theory into practice.
The Brunel Robotic Engineering Society (BRES) is open to all Brunel students from every background, level and experience, who are interested in developing hands-on practical projects which include:
For those less confident in practical skills, we also run a Fundamentals project covering soldering, programming, circuit theory and more.
If you require support, financing or advice on your personal projects, we are always willing to help.
Finally, we also host industry speakers from robotic and engineering companies across the UK, which is a great way to learn, gain experience and network with some of the biggest names out there.
How to get involved
If you're interested join us on Teams and introduce yourself to a Team Chat.
All projects meet weekly and timings depend on the suitability of the members in the project.
Meetings allow you to gain experience and knowledge in hardware, software and design through individual and group projects.
So whatever you want to do, come along and let us know.
