The Pregnant, Parents & Carers Network brings together students who are pregnant, parents or have caring responsibilities. Whether you're expecting a baby, raising children or caring for a family member, PPCN is a place to meet other students, share experiences and help improve the student experience for those with dependants.
FIND YOUR COMMUNITY
Connect with other students who understand the challenges of balancing family life and studies. Share advice, swap tips and be part of a supportive community where you can feel understood and supported.
MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD
Share your experiences and help influence University and Union policies, from family-friendly study spaces to flexible deadlines, so that students with pregnancy, parenting and caring responsibilities are properly supported and represented.
GROW YOUR NETWORK
Take part in professional development opportunities, career workshops and networking activities. Build your confidence, develop your skills and strengthen your career prospects while balancing your responsibilities outside university.
CREATE REAL IMPACT
Help shape campaigns and awareness initiatives that make Brunel more inclusive for students with dependants. Get involved in activities such as Parent Mental Health Day and Young Carers Action Day, and help improve understanding and support for student parents and carers.
