Welcome to the Brunel Swim Team! We are a competitive club hoping to help swimmers develop and enhance their skills in the water! Make sure you follow us on Instagram for updates!
Brunel Swim Team are a lovely group of people that will make you feel welcome during your time at university!
Our pool sessions are held at Hillingdon Sports & Leisure Complex, which is around a 20-minute walk from campus. We train over both 50m and 25m, making us well prepared for all competitions.
Both of our sessions are fully supervised by our coach Chris and he gives us a set for sessions that he does not coach.
We now offer 2 pool sessions a week. We also spend 15 minutes before each session carrying out a land warm-up. Training will all be dependent on government guidelines.
As proud members of Team Brunel, membership fees are FREE! (Union Sports Membership required) So if you’re interested in joining Brunel Swim Team, please feel free to come along to one of our sessions or send us a message if you have any questions!
Unfortunately we do not currently offer a learn to swim programme, if you are interested in lessons, we can put you in touch with Hilligdon Sports & Leisure Centre who offer their own lessons with qualified teachers for all age groups. We do however have a fitness session for those not looking to compete.
Everything will be a bit different this year due to the pandemic but we still would love for you all to join. It's going to take a bit of getting used to but we hope it's going to be a great year!
